Privacy Policy for Resilient client mobile app

At Resilient SA, located in Lausanne, Switzerland, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal data we collect, use, share, and how we safeguard your information in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the new Swiss data privacy law (nFADP).

Data Collection

We collect biometric data from Garmin wearables, personal information through questionnaires, and environmental data to support our research study aimed at developing a burnout detection and prediction model. This includes heart rate, sleep data, physical activity, location data, environmental conditions, and responses to health and wellbeing questionnaires.

Use of Data

The collected data is used exclusively for building a personal burnout detection and prediction model and providing personalized wellbeing advice through a chatbot. In particular, we leverage location data to track stress levels by location and correlate burnout risk with weather, even when the app is closed. With the consent of users, the software will gather location data while it is operating in the background: denying access or not granting all the time access may limit personalized insights. Your data supports our mission to improve employee wellbeing and prevent burnout.

Data Sharing

Data is shared with our research partner SUPSI and medical practice psy-bern AG under strict confidentiality agreements. SUPSI accesses anonymized data for research purposes, while psy-bern AG manages identifiable information under doctor-patient confidentiality to support user wellbeing.

Security Measures

We employ state-of-the-art encryption and host data on secure servers within the EU to protect your information. Organizational measures include partnerships with entities that adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.

User Rights

Users are informed of their rights under GDPR and Swiss law through informed consent documents. These rights include accessing, rectifying, or deleting your data and withdrawing consent. Requests for data management can be made through our app’s support panel.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained for 5 years, with procedures in place for early deletion upon user request. Data is anonymized if a user exits the study early and fully deleted according to our specified timeline of 30 days, with users notified during completion.

For further information or to exercise your data rights, please contact us through the app’s support panel.
